The Swan

I liked that the beach was within walking distance, but once I arrived, there were so many extra charges. People rented nearby rooms with more than 20 people per room and had huge parties. This made the pool dirty which caused me to get a severe ear infection and eye infection. I was unable to return to my teaching job for 4 days; not to mention medical bills. I have not recovered from this disastrous stay at the Swan. Not only that a drunk woman was harassing me while I was grading student's papers and inputting grades into the Broward County Schools computer. She jumped in the pool to destroy the computer, I called the police but nothing was done by the establishment or the police. Did I say I was a homeless teacher in Broward County Schools and had been living in my car? Well, I had just gotten paid and treated myself to 3 nights and the ability to catch up on work. What a freaking disaster. Never again.

I left before breakfast. Staff was not helpful and the fact you have to pay for parking is crazy to me. I pray I don’t have to go there again.

Horrible service. The first room smelled like all kind of drugs. I was moved to another room upstairs which I have knee problems then I was moved to another hotel (Seaside) the A/C was dripping water, the room was a lot smaller than the first and second room and the fridge was not working. Horrible experience!
