Hotel Pol Haveli Jaisalmer

Very easy and enjoyable stay. Picked up at the train station on time with a clear sign with our name, followed by a welcome drink. Organised a camel safari for us which was fun and non - touristic as requested sleeping under the moonlight. Given a free room to use on return from safari for the whole day before our night bus (which they also booked for us). Chef cooked delicious food and allowed us to watch him cook whilst giving instructions so we learnt a lot.

Nothing, one of easiest stays we've had in our 10 week trip.

Beautiful old looking Haveli but actually very modern and clean, comfy beds and rooms as in pictures. The staff are amazing and will help you with anything. The rooftop restaurant is superb with an excellent chef and good prices too. Included breakfast is also superb with many choices. The Hotel also offers Desert safari with their own drivers and staff.

Situated in the heart of Jaisalmer, Hotel Pol Haveli offers a delightful stay experience that caters to friends, families, and couples alike. And the restaurant on the 3 rd floor is wonderful and have great ambiance with the true heritage style of Jaisalmer and on the roof there is also sitting area of a restaurant from you can enjoy the magnificent view of Jaisalmer fort .! The owner (Mr Manu) and the staff are very friendly very helpful they are ready to help you with everything they have a best plans for the desserts safari or if you are looking for any desert activity or want to stay there for night. Mr Manu and staff is always ready to help .!!

An absolute highlight in the golden city of Jaisalmer. The accommodations are fantastic straight out of 1000 and 1 Nights. The staff is extra class. You can go to them with any question and they will do their best to make everything possible. Stayed here for 4 nights. Great central location, clean and you feel like you're at home. The chef is a true artist and creates fresh and absolutely delicious authentic dishes. We also decided to book a camel safari through this hotel. Here too we were surprised with what was probably the best way to experience it. Especially outside, no overcrowded places. Enjoyed culinary delights in the middle of the sand dunes, spent a wonderful night with a campfire and a starry sky. The service and quality leave absolutely nothing to be desired. Clearly this place and these people made our stay unforgettable and created a great time. Highly Recommended!!!

One of the best stays of my life, and I have traveled over 60 countries! The excellent location of the hotel, great room, great restaurant, roof-top terrace with great views to relax, clean, OK wi-fi etc. But the highlight of my stay was a superbly friendly staff! Manager Surya and his colleagues were simply awesome and so nice company for a lone traveler like me, a lot of interesting and also funny discussions... I dare to say we became friends. They took me with them to two Indian wedding celebrations, by jeep and a motorbike, helped me to choose a nice Indian dress... an experience, I will never forget and no tourist agency can provide. Non-tourist safari with camels and sleeping under the stars (with many friendly dogs around) was also an unforgettable experience. If you haven't planned to visit Jaisalmer (which I also adored since it is so unspoiled and friendly traditional Rajasthani town), you should visit it for the Pol Haveli Hotel and its friendly people alone... I extended my stay for 3 nights. I will miss you, my friends from Pol Haveli, and a friendly camel guide!

Some music and dancing in the evening near the hotel, but I liked it, even joined the party :-) If you go to bed at 9PM and dont like the music that is not the best place for you - but, cmon, you are in India, enjoy life!

Beautiful haveli with amazing restaurant and rooftop. The staff was great: all of them really profesional, friendly and helpful. Best Masala chai in India. They offer free pick up and drop off to the train station, desert tours, city tours...all you may need. Very good quality-price relation We definitely recommend it
