Beautiful view of the fort and the city. Big soacious room, comfy bed and nice rooftop area for food and relaxing.

We loved the property but the walk up to the place is full of children begging every time you walk up or down.

Really beautiful rooftop with panoramic view of the fort. With spacious, A/C rooms. Thank you to our host for driving us to the hospital when we were sick, it was much appreciated.

No windows in rooms. Also, I’m no sure why, maybe because of Diwali, but there was times when we were missing a bit of hospitality from staff. They were very nice, but for example every morning - we would go upstairs for breakfast and it would take about 3 times to get attention from staff for breakfast/coffee. It was all fine, just not the typical hospitality we are used to especially for a 9-rates Booking property.

The staff were amazing. Akbar, Gunam and the owner Dilip were so hospitable and accommodating during our stay there. Location was within easy walking distance to the market. We had a great view of the Golden Fort from the rooftop terrace. Would highly recommend The Silk Route 😊

The staffs and the owner is very polite and courteous. The quality of the food provided was good and was economical as per the market trends. Satisfied with the cleanliness of the room.

The location is a bit off and tucked inside, so it's not easy to identify..also some road work was happening which made it a bit difficult to reach the Hotel.

Extreme value for money in this hotel on the edge of the city of Jaisalmer. Akbar was a very friendly guy that was always there with a smile and information when needed. He even picked us up from the railway station after midnight without hesitation. Really felt welcome! The Room was quite large with separate seating area and with a good view of the fort in the near distance, in walking distance. spacious bathroom as well. Nice rooftop terras. AC worked well. Beds were comfortable. Akbar was a great host!

Lane towards the hotel from the main street is not very welcoming and small children will approach you on arriving or leaving. You can't blame them (my humble opinion) and they don't push it, so we never felt unsafe. Shower has no hot water, but management can provide you with warm water on request.

Staff behaviour is just awesome.
