Hotel The Surya Jaisalmer

Hotel is located inside the fort. The view from our room was absolutely incredible. We could see the whole city, it was amazing. The room was big and clean with traditional aesthetics. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s also a rooftop dining with delicious food. This hotel is a must stay if you’re visiting Jaisalmer. Solid 10/10

View & Peaceful Vibe

Staff is kind, rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is good but the best part of the hotel is the terrace, with one of the most beautiful views you can find in all Jaisalmer.

Dream location built into the walla of the fort. I booked 2 rooms, one for my daughter and her husband was excellent with an amazing view from a balcony window and all good facilities. The one just for me which was a bit cheaper was not quite as good but still good value for money. I didn't realise you could open the window by moving the window seat cushion. Small room bathroom was a bit dilapidated, but seemed clean. Lots of high steps - comes with old character buildings of the area though.

Brilliant location in ramparts of city wall with good views. Bar Restaurant on terrace, surprisingly splendid food reasonably priced.

Bathroom pretty tatty with minor ant infestation (didn’t get much beyond the drain areas and not into bedroom so tolerable if you weren’t too squeamish). Balcony just a protruding window seat but OK at a squeeze. For the price could not complain.

Service, Location, View from room, roof top restaurant, quality of food.

Entry steps are quite difficult.
