Volcano view is incredible! Huge room with everything you need. Free all you can drink beer was unexpected and made us happy

Tobacco smell everywhere in the bulding, especially the room. Impossible to get rid of the smell, all of our luggages smells nasty. Old furnitures, could use a refresh but for the price it's good enough!

Firstly, this is a Love Hotel which allows guests to stay during the week excluding Saturdays. With that, you will get some of the perks of a Love Hotel for your stay including free breakfast which you can tell the staff to bring to your room in the morning, a spacious room, open bar in the lobby, bath/soaps for the bathtub, decent room service with lots of food options, free movies, etc. There are two lifts for guests entering and exiting, which can be confusing at first. However, the best thing I think is having Sakurajima outside your window. Overall, if you can look past the Love Hotel if it bothers you, it is a decent stay.

The hotel is a bit out of town; about 30 minute walk to the central area. The doors will lock and you will need to ask the staff to unlock the door before you can open your room again.

The view of Sakurajima was fantastic! The room was spacious.

There's no lift to the first floor where reception is located although from there you can use a lift to upper floors.

so many facilities - hair styling tools, toiletries, drinks in the lobby, drip coffee bags (rather than instant), dozens of bath salts flavours, free breakfast, great room service choice (even a few veggie options), microwave, fridge super comfy room, loads of space, balcony, fabulous view of skurajima check out until 12 noon very modern hotel, the lady at check in communicated well via the translator app and didn't try to remain anonymous or hide behind a screen and we didn't get locked in our room which felt more comfortable for us. Such good value for money, would definitely stay here again and wished we could have stayed longer.

The stairs from the carpark to the lobby - was a bit of an inconvenience with our cases. The TV food ordering system didn't seem to have an option to change the language so it took us ages to translate and work it out (until we found the pictures! 🙂). But these are such small things that didn't really affect our enjoyment of the stay.

We LOVED the location! The beautiful view of Sakurajima and the bay was amazing. The breakfast was very nice. We were happy to choose the time it arrived. The bed was very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was very fancy. We were also really grateful for all the amenities and appliances. The large television was cool too! We were so impressed with the large size of the room, and it was very quiet during our entire stay.

There were old stains on some things, and we found a couple of old bottles. They were probably from a previous customer. It was a small mistake, I think. There was a very faint smell of smoke, but it was not a problem for us. These issues were really negligible, so these problems did not negatively affect our visit that much.

It’s a love hotel so of course it’s in a funny location, has free parking, and the giant bathroom has a volcano view. Perfectly fine and economical place for an overnight stay before taking the ferry.
