There was a great view of Sakurajima from the window. The room was very spacious.

It wasn’t clear from the description that this is a love hotel, so no restaurant, bar or chance to interact with other people. Instead, you are hidden away in your room getting meals on a tray like an inmate of a quarantine hotel. Also, although the sheets and towels were clean, the walls, doors and areas around the taps were grubby. The hotel is a long way from the station, situated in an industrial area. However, the sea views are good and there is a bus every hour to/from Kiyotaki dori bus stop, about a 10 minute walk away.

There was nowhere that indicated this was a ‘love hotel’ . For the unsuspecting tourist this was a bit of a surprise. The decor while plush was dated and a little worn. Reception a little unusual but evidently typical for these hotels to maintain discretion and privacy.

Amazing view of the volcano from our room! The beds were very comfortable and our room had a great big bath!

It would have been good to have more information about the hotel and its facilities in English so we could take advantage of them. The hotel is a bit tired and dated and it is down on the coast hence not that close to the town centre.

Perfect hotel for couple (even I was with best friends). Room is hughly larger than my expectation. Free Breakfast and moutain view is exceptional. Sakurajima made my morning perfect! Staff are willing to help even they speak less English. Google translate helps.
