Close to Abbey Park where a lot of live bands play, staff are lovely, it’s cheap and comfortable. Fridge in the bedroom!

I thought the hotel was in a great location if you want a basic comfortable place to stay.

Hannah on reception was lovely, she couldn’t have been any more helpful! Location to Abbey park. We were given a ground floor room at my request which we were grateful for. There was plenty of tea and coffee and the towels and bedsheets were clean.

We paid nearly triple the normal cost of the hotel room because there was a concert on at the park, l expected a hike in the price but £140 + for a room that size was a bit much. Minor detail was the kettle didn’t fit under the tap so a jug would have been useful or an easy resolve. Major issue was we booked the room for somewhere to sleep before heading home the following morning. The mattress was tired and impossible to sleep on, l couldn’t feel the springs digging in to me. We ended up sleeping for all of a couple of hours on top of the quilt and used the towels as covers. I couldn’t discuss this with anyone because the hotel isn’t manned until 1pm the next day.
