Reading out rules to me on arrival at a hotel did not feel warm at all. Being accused of spoiling a fixture in the bathroom that was apparently faulty before I got there was both annoying and belittling. Definitely the first time I have ever experienced that. And enough to make me never return.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this hotel. I would recommend everyone stay away from this hell hole. The whole experience was dehumanising and it is an utter disgrace that booking.com is marketing this con of a hotel under its brand. Complete rip off.

If hell was a place on earth, it would be the Kawruky Hotel. Below are a list of the painful events which occurred during my 1 night stay (I was forced to vacate expeditiously due to the poor conditions) 1. Dirty, stained pillows - what was meant to be white pillows were so dirty that they had turned brown. They also had a terrible stench.. It was obvious that the pillows had not been changed in years. 2. Dingy towels that looked like rags - the bath towels resembled rags. I resorted to using it as a bathroom mat rather than drying my skin with it for fear that I might get an infection. 3. Mattress - very cheap sponge/foam. No support and definitely not of international quality to warrant charging international prices. 4. Bedsheets - bedsheets were thin, cheap, worn out polyester material - so thin I could see the floral pattern of the mattress through it. Felt like sand against my skin. Comfort was non existent. 6. No bathroom mats. Go figure. I am still confused. 7. No toilet paper! - to my complete shock, the hotel left no toilet paper. Instead there was a bucket and cup which I understand was meant to be used to wash my backside after doing a number 2. There was also the option of a hose near the toilet. This is not standard practice for tourists so if you market to foreigners at least give them toilet paper! 8. No hand soap - in addition to the lack of toilet paper there was no handsoap. I asked for some and they gave me some powder detergent in a used nestle water bottle. 9. The external unit part of the AC is outside in the area where the generator operates so the AC brought fumes into the room. 10. Breakfast included is a lie- they knocked on the door and handed us some dry noodles on a plate with one boiled egg. 2 of us in the room, yet we got 1 breakfast. We were also told we could not get an extra plate and fork to share this food. PS no one bothered to ask what we wanted for breakfast before dumping this low grade food into our room. 11.

I ordered for food and was given a Bangha soup that looks filtered with cat fish that was poorly cooked.
