It's a long weekend and going back to country so need quick naap and comfortable so we found citizen ya it's quite and cheap for a single day and lovely location

Size of room is decent at this cost and value for money, near to airport, clean room and washroom, quiet room

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent stay booked through your platform. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations due to multiple issues with the accommodations and services provided. Initially, the first room I was assigned had a persistent unpleasant smell, a broken shower that did not function, and a drainage problem in the basin, making it unusable. Additionally, basic amenities were lacking—there was no shampoo or soap provided, no bath mat, and the toilet roll was stained, which was highly unhygienic. After raising these concerns, I was moved to a second room. However, this room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made it equally uncomfortable and unsuitable. To add to this, the breakfast service was poorly prepared and lacked the standard I expected from a property listed on your site. The area was unclean and there no professionalism in the staff. Furthermore, the hotel is located in a different location to what was shown at the booking.com website. Once we arrived at the location, they sent us a whatsapp message with another location. The hotel advertised at the booking.com website does not exist and the current stay is at Hotel Chanyaka Inn. The bathroom at the place has flies in it and locks do not work. They provided us with 2 shampoo sachets for 3 people and a small bar of soap.

Very disappointed. First of all we had a hard time finding the hotel as it has another name - Chanakya Inn, I guess this is the real name and New Delhi Hotel Citizen is a name just for booking.com. Overall room condition was much worse than on the pictures - smaller room, furniture and everything was worn out, not clean. The room was supposed to have toiletries but it was brought only after I asked for. According to booking.com description the room was supposed to have many facilities but it didn't have any of this: Kitchen, Refrigerator, Safety deposit box, Coffee machine etc. The shower provided very little amount of water, unpleasant experience. It was hard to sleep in this hotel as we could hear a lot of noise from the corridor, people were speaking loudly, arguing. Overall, the room didn't match description on booking.com.
