Rockside Cabanas Hotel

We really liked everything. All the hosts/people working there were very nice and respectful. Our room was clean, and we always had the option if we wanted it to be cleaned or not. There is a really nice beach at this place that has turtles you can look at and a pool at the hotel itself. The food is also very delicious.

Everything was great, but perhaps if there could be more options for breakfast, it would be nice. As we stayed for a week and it was the same 2/3 options every day.

In September my wife and I stayed at Rockside Cabanas and were happy to find that our cabana looked exactly like the hotel’s pictures—no surprises, just beautiful and authentic! We were happily surprised at how stunning the grounds and location are, with gorgeous views of the ocean from our porch. The staff made our stay even more memorable. Jerom, the manager, keeps the place in excellent order and was always attentive and helpful. Jeewantha, the bartender, is truly world-class—his cocktails are some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Our favorite was his unforgettable chili pepper margarita! Kokila and Nuwan were also incredibly warm, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Rockside Cabanas to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

Location was great. At the beach where turtles come. Great pool and the garden. Delicious breakfasts too ! Beautiful rooms, paintings on the wall, wooden furniture in the colonial style - with a good taste. We felt very special and this was mostly because of the Manager Jerome and his staff. He was so professional and engaged! We appreciate it a lot!

The location was the top attraction here. It was right next to the turtle beach. The bath on the patio in our room was pretty cool. They did go out and get a gluten free option for my friend for the second day. The grounds were in great condition and the swimming pool was sparkling clean.

This was the most expensive dinner we ate in Sri Lanka and we didn’t even have dessert. The breakfast was quite nice however.

Instead of a standard buffet, breakfast is served at your table! Do not miss the fresh coconut water 😁 Amazing location, just in front of the ocean, falling asleep with sound of waves.. stunning!
