Excellent breakfast

Not really well maintained

Location is good! Not in the busiest part of town which is pretty nice. Short walk to the surf spot. Breakfast was super good! Farooks pancakes are the bomb!

Proximity to the beach! The owners were really kind to us and we really appreciated it!

I'd recommend to book a room with a terrace, ours was in the dark and we couldn't relax outside our room with privacy. Noisy in the night. The bathroom wasn't really easy to use cause once you showered the access to the toilet was impossible without wetting your feet, water was everywhere... Surf lessons were cool but can be found cheaper somewhere else.

great location, staff and rooms!

Very kind hosts. Did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. Also took care of laundry on request. Had some nice surf lessons with Deen. Alternatively, also great just to relax on the beach around the corner.

+ very nice owner + veeeery close to the beach, less than 1min walk — also restaurants, cafés etc in walking distance + surfing lessons with Deen - highly recommend + good vibe + clean room and bathroom + laundry service + very good value for price

we had daily some cockroaches in the bathroom but that’s a thing you can’t really avoid in Sri Lanka - had also some in other places

Stayed in this place for ten days and really enjoyed the quite location very close to the beach. The rooms are spaceous and clean and Deen and his family are really friendly and helpful. Would come back here again

Very friendly Staff. They always kept the place clean and even cleaned our sandy Flip Flops and our tuk tuk. They organized surf lessons and a safari within <1h. They made big effort for ua to have a nice and easy going stay. Very close to the beach. Good price-performance ratio.

A/C was sometimes a little loud. Old Bathroom.

i really enjoyed my time at the surf beach hotel, so much that i extended my stay two times. my room was very confortable, had everything that was mentioned, it was very clean and well maintained, also the outside area was cleaned up every day and therefore very neat. whenever i needed something the hosts where more than welcome to help me, indeed they helped me a lot and made my stay in arugam bay the way it was: excellent i was there end of offseason, the hotel is located very peacefully and it was quiet day and night, super close to the beach but also close enough to the mainroad of abay and the restaurants. what can i say, thank you beach house hotel for having me. peace
