The Mastodon Valley Safari Resort

Environment was good and the staff was friendly.

AC wasn't working properly in my room when i arrived. And there was no squared pin socket near the bed.

A wonderful base to experience Udawalawe National Park. The rooms and pool were excellent. The nature and views whilst chilling by the pool were stunning!

There could have been a few western food options for the kids and the check-out and meal times could have been clearer.

This place is simply stunning. The lodges are lovely and surround a beautiful pool. The gardens are full of mango and other fruit trees which are filled with all sorts of wildlife like monkeys, birds and giant squirrels. The staff were very helpful and arranged a safari tour to Udawalawe for us which was great. The Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing.

It would have been nice to have more choice for dinner although the curry and rice we had was very good.

Excellent serviceminded staff. Garden and the silent area was great. Swimingpool in garden very clean and fresh. We highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Udawalawa National park.

Perfect location before or after your safari in Udalawe. Nice spacious bungalows within the full nature. The lovely pool makes the picture complete. Very friendly staff and we had a nice dinner too
