Best Western Plus Dunfermline Crossford Keavil House Hotel

Lovely setting and building. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

The decor and furniture were a little tired but didn’t detract from comfort and pleasant atmosphere.

The room was comfortable and quite clean (mostly) - and the hotel’s location is very peaceful. Great pool and leisure centre.

The rooms do feel a little tired - like they’ve not been updated or refreshed in a long time. I also noticed various issues during my stay too. First, the door leading onto the garden didn’t unlock at all, so I couldn’t open it. Not the end of the world but a little annoying. My room was also missing a TV remote, but reception rectified this. However - the TV didn’t work at all. I tried to swap the remote with another room (which my friend was staying in) - but this didn’t work either. I gave up in the end (and didn’t feel like another trip back to reception to sort it). The wifi signal in the room was also abysmal (basically non-existent). The hotel location has very poor signal (on EE) so good wifi is essential in this day and age, but this hotel does not have good WiFi.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are top notch,, and the leisure facilities are fantastic, especially the classes.

The restaurant menu is very uninspiring.
