Highlands Resort - Adults Only

It was lovely! My cabin was so cozy!

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins at Highlands resort. It was at the tail end of a long road trip and it was probably our favorite stay of the entire trip. The overall setup is just enough for city slickers like us to feel like we're a tad off the beaten path without sacrificing any creature comforts. You basically get all of the amenities of a hotel room in a setting that seems to encourage you to disconnect and unplug. It's super quiet and the fresh air is conducive to a good night's sleep. At the same time, the location is walking distance to the main Guerneville strip and a straight shot from the Armstrong Redwoods Nature preserve - basically the ideal location for staying in Russian River. No complaints with any of the small stuff, either - getting in and out is easy, breakfast is great and fit for purpose, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Great stay at the Highlands. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the whole atmosphere was very calming, peaceful, and chill, from the pool area to the fire pit. We appreciated the light breakfast (hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and granola, quick breads, etc.) and it is a quick walk to the main street of Guerneville. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which is attached to the main building and has a deck with a view of the pool area. The only thing to know is the gate to the pool area is right next to the deck, so you may hear people coming and going through it. This didn't bother us (pool is only open 9am-8pm so it wouldn't be happening during sleeping hours), but something to be aware of when considering this cabin.  We will definitely be back!

I stayed at camp coyote for 4 days. I prefer the tent or glamping as I like the outdoor shower. I loved the daily brunch the owner prepared as what they serve is everything I liked such as yogurt , juice , banana bread. The tent was cozy despite the cold evenings as they provide extra blankets. Parking was easy . The pool was also my favorite . I want to come back. Very quiet place in general. Easy to find time to meditate or alone time.

I have stayed here for many years because the staff and accommodations are excellent. My go to place for relaxation.

Super quiet in glamp tent in Camp Coyote. Great showers and nice bathrooms with easy access. Pool was super cool and relaxing. Spent 5 hours there. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Nice Continental breakfast area and other quiet places to sit outdoors.

Every aspect of stay was great.
