Tiu Oasis Lombok

We loved the little huts - they were very comfortable. The pool was nice and the kids loved jumping from the steps. The staff were lovely too and the breakfast good with a great choice. I was a bit worried about the location when booking as we weren’t planning to rent a car or bike but this wasn’t a problem at all. We had a lovely driver called Ebry that the hotel recommended. Walking to the main road was also ok.

We stayed in one of the villas for one night and although nice it needs a bit of maintenance and an upgrade. A minor thing but the sinks in both the huts and the villa could have been cleaned better and needed a deep clean (a lot of brown muck on the drain).

Heerlijke plek met heel fijn personeel die alles voor je doen. Lekker zwembad, leuke huisjes.

We stayed for 7 nights in one of the villas at Tiu Oasis. At first glance, it’s a beautiful and intimate hotel. Definitely very photogenic and Instagram-worthy. However, upon entering the villa, we immediately noticed it wasn’t very clean. It looked fine on the surface, but the floors felt dirty, the tile grout was grimy, there was a bad smell in the bathroom, visible mold around the toilet, and stains on some of the towels. The place could really use a deep clean, followed by consistent upkeep. We were traveling as a couple with our 13-year-old son and therefore used the sofa bed downstairs. Unfortunately, this was not a comfortable place to sleep. The roller blinds on the front window let in a lot of light, and the other windows didn’t have any curtains at all, making it hard to call this a proper sleeping space. In our opinion, the villa is more suitable for 2 people. The villa is attached to another unit and very poorly soundproofed. Combined with the single-pane windows, you can hear everything from both inside and outside. Location-wise: the property is down a bumpy dirt road, but it’s manageable by scooter, which we could easily rent directly from the villa. There’s a lot of construction going on in the area, but we didn’t find it too disruptive. The swimmingpool and area was amazing and clean. Never crowded. Breakfast is an area that could definitely be improved. The coffee was not great, the yogurt on our last day had gone bad, and the juices were so diluted they barely had any flavor. The pain au chocolat was delecious on the other hand. And the guy who made the breakfast always very kind! On a positive note, the staff deserve a 10/10. They were incredibly kind and helpful. When our son’s beloved stuffed animal accidentally got taken with the laundry, one of the staff members went out of their way to retrieve it late in the evening which we truly appreciated. Overall, we give our stay a 6.5/10. Our 13-year-old son gives it an 8 😉.

Super lieve mensen, mooi huisje, rustige accomodatie fijne bedden. Geweldig ontbijt! Echt alles top! Met 1 kind en 2 volwassenen, perfect te doen. Heel behulpzaam, binnen een paar minuten stonden er scooters, de was werd voor een goede kiloprijs geregeld. Zwembad ook schoon en fijne relaxte plek. Huur zeker een scooter om de stranden in de buurt te verkennen!

Als je iets moet zeggen om rekening mee te houden (wij hadden er geen problemen mee) de weg ernaartoe is ‘bumpy’ maar gewoon te doen met scooter. Ik zou het zeker nog een X boeken!

Lingkungan tenang jauh dari jalan meskipun lagi ada renovasi tapi tidak sampai ke kamar suaranya. Breakfast nya top👍 Tempatnya Estetik banget 👍👍
