The Doms/room are pretty cool.

At the begging we had shower pressure issues but the host resolved straight away.

We had an incredible stay first for 3 nights then we booked an extra night as we loved it so much. We will definitely be going back! We loved how chilled out and quiet it was and how you could only hear the birds in the morning. The bed was super comfy and we loved the shower as we had hot water all day and night and with the glass roof of the shower you could see all the trees above - magical! It reminded me of holidays to Thailand. There are hammocks to chill outside and also great WiFi - they have Starlink so I actually took some Zoom calls on my last morning for work. The location was in our favourite part of the island - the beach a 5 minute walk away was the best part of the beach on the island - it’s chill and there are lovely palm trees and shade without needing to go to a beach club. We went swimming a few mornings before breakfast and it was amazing. The only thing is it turned out to be about a 10-15 minute walk to our favourite restaurants, but who cares when you’re in paradise?!

We loved The concept, tranquility, location and friendly staff at frequency. Also, loved the soaps that they provided.

Was the inconsistent water supply in the shower. Still wouldn’t keep me from coming back.

The fact that you could walk to the main area in a matter of minutes.

Please don’t ruin your trip by choosing this property. I am sitting here in Cancun writing this review when I should have been in Holbox. My partner and I did not get a wink of sleep last night because we were scared that a scorpion or a lizard or another insect was going to be on top of us as we slept. The pictures that you see are a utopian vision of what you get. Soon as you arrive, you are not greeted by anyone. We did not see the receptionist the entire time. The sole cleaning lady showed us our room. The tv did not work. There was nothing inside the room. It would still have been fine if the structure itself was taken care of. There was extensive water damage and damage to the structure itself which made me scared of the insects. The worst part was that we were whatsapped as soon as we arrived that the water pressure is low. When they say low, its almost non existent. We had trouble using the toilet, bathing, brushing, everything. When we asked for the TV, we were simply ghosted. I have never felt so abandoned by a property. It made me feel that I was on my own and there would be no help if needed. Simply a nightmare experience which will forever taint my experience of Holbox. My husband and I had to forgo our early morning kayak tour and lose the money and the experience because we were simply too tired from being awake. We had paid for another night but having read scores of similar reviews, i realise that we will never get that money back either.

It's nice in picture, however many things are not working or need attention, like showers not having water pressure.

This property has major issues with water pressure, so it was impossible for us to shower with the little amount of water that was coming out. They gaslit us telling us that it's a problem of the whole island, when in fact other hotels did have perfect water pressure (we had contacts with friends in other properties who could confirm they had no issues, and found ourselves an accommodation with no water issues). They never managed to fix this despite telling us they were working on it, so we had to leave the property after one night to find another accommodation with running water, decision which they seemed to understand. The host Juan Pablo told us that we would have received a refund, however after more than one month of calls to booking.com customer service, email reminders, and us directly messaging Juan Pablo on WhatsApp and being ghosted, we still have not received our refund and are stuck in a ridiculous loop of reminders where the host is not answering to booking.com emails.

Not far away from the beach and nice to go to punta Miskito from this hotel

Had to change room twice. As first was so low that we couldn’t stand straight and airco was screaming while working, in second there was no hot water, and only third room was like on the pictures. Quite far away from center.
