It's a very nice hotel located outside the center of Holbox. Therefore you definitely have your rest without too much noise from the center. The bed was really comfortable with a good Wi-Fi signal. Also the staff is very kind as we had all our ropes wet and the lady offered us to dry the clothes in a dryer. A lot of reviews we have seen was about the animals in the night, we didn't experience any cockroaches or scorpions. We only saw a raccoon in a tree next to our room which was actually cute. I think your mindset is important: you are in a place where there are insects and other animals so it could be you would face an insect in your room. The rooms are pretty isolated except for the ventilation hole under the door which is necessary for the ventilation in any building. Possibly a cockroach could enter, but if you don't think about it too much there is nothing wrong.

Actually nothing we could think off. The power of the shower current was not so hard and could be better, but that is all luxury details. Our mindset from me and my wife was to adapt ourselves to the circumstances of a hotel which is not like a 5 star hotel. Then you will have a great time here!

The place is nice

There's no one to help. I didn't receive my room number, and the cleaner girl helped to find a room that was ready. The guy that is the receptionist never was there I had an issue with two alacrans, and he never replied to my messages I had the let room one night before, and I couldn't ask for a refund due to the alacrans.

good for the experience but i wouldn’t stay more than 1/2 nights. Nice common area with hammocks and seats, good atmosphere. Cleaning lady super nice, she does more than she should, the receptionist wasnt here when clients arrived and she did the job for him. Rooms clean good towels and perfect toiletries.

Shower not perfect, no pressure but is good for the ambience, couldn’t expect more.

The place is unique and has a nice vibe for couples to stay.

Funny little iglo’s with a lot of beautiful greenery around them. The bed was comfortable and the shower had a cool window at the top. Great location and perfect for two nights. We got a lot of great tips from the guy who checked us in. Everyone seemed very very friendly.

Take earplugs with you for the construction work down the road and the raccoon family that might play on your iglo at night. We came home the first night and there was a huge scorpion in our sink. Unfortunately for us there was no staff to be found around so we had to remove it ourselves. Also a bit of a downside there was no furniture to put your luggage on/in.

Very cozy location, close to the beach.

The AC in our room was not working. When it rained it was leaking into our room.
