Absolutely wonderful and such a beautiful building and area, right near Amish country! I’m sorry that it was a quick overnight on our way home to Maine. So, I plan on returning for a few nights next time.

Charming atmosphere. Clean rooms.

The property has some nice aspects, like the historical feel and redone bathrooms, and the hotel is easy access to Mercersburg Academy if you’re visiting a student, but they have a clear service problem—the desk was never attended, the floors in my room were dirty and the restaurant took forever to get our very simple sandwich meal.

Beautiful neighborhood and accommodations! The history of the hotel was very interesting.

Although listing noted breakfast... There was no breakfast. And shower never got hot . But... Beaufort hotel and surrounding area.

Door was locked with a sign on the door saying temporarily closed had to call the guy to let us in was pretty awkward honestly definitely did not fit up to expectations

Location, like the decor and restaurant was good

Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Mercersburg. Very walkable area. Hotel also has an interesting history and the one staff member I chatted with (she does pretty much everything here) was well versed in the history. Room was clean + comfortable.

Trying to figure out how the tv service worked + waiting for connections was tedious. Also no comfortable sitting chair. Laying on the bed was only option.

The room was very nice and clean

There was no ice, no breakfast even though the booking said there was a grab and go.
