Isara Boutique Hotel and Cafe

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was not too far from the main tourist areas.

1. We booked a room with a private pool so we could get a bit of relief from the heat. The water was clean and clear when we first arrived but had black mould growing along all of the tile joints. It was loose mould that could easily be cleaned off but hadn't been. We stayed for three nights and each day when we got back from sightseeing the pool had lost at least half of its water, so we had to sit in it trying to avoid the mould. The pool emptied more overnight and each morning it was only about 30cm deep so we couldn't use it at all. 2. It was a two-story apartment with very steep treads on the stairs and no banister rail on the top half of the stairs which made it difficult to carry our suitcases up and down. We are nearing seventy so the stairs may have been fine for younger people, but we found them dangerous and unsuitable for us. 3. The bedroom was fairly small with no wardrobe to hang some of our clothes. Our bags took up floor space and it was difficult having to rummage through them for what we needed. Now I know what they mean by living out of a suitcase :)

Nothing I disliked

We liked the quirkiness of the boutique hotel. Comfortable room and a great location.

The cafe incorporated in the florists offered plenty of coffee drinks, cocktails and sweets but little other food, eg, some breakfast options on the menu.

Location is excellent, very quirky little hotel ,comfortable bed, Netflix was available which was nice

Nothing was terrible, it’s was just a very different experience after staying in resorts around the country, given the size of the hotel there’s not much room to enhance the experience . If you are tall be sure to stay on the ground floor
