"Not worth to stay"

Breakfast was good

Personal was very unfriendly, by arrival no welcome, no help with luggage, no smile, than after handing over the key, the front office girl gave her first smile to receive a tip (mrs chitra). Super noisy the whole night from the inside courtyard till 2.00.

"It could be lovely but..."

Location is good! In the middle of white town, a short walk from the beach in the middle of everything.

We booked a suite and got the Mahe room. The room was very stuffy. AC is placed very low on the ground so it doesn't cool properly. There is no natural daylight. The only way to get daylight is to open a window which opens into the restaurant terrace. The room was dusty, the bathroom is cave like and didn't look very clean. The bed is fairly comfy.

"Nice Place to stay"

I had come to De L'Orient when it was run by Neemrana Hotels - clearly that experience was much better But having said that - Dune has retained a lot of the good from the old times.

It just did not feel like Neemrana. At Neemrana, the staff and the experience is through people who enjoy their work. At Dune, we did not get the same feeling. While the staff was courteous and nice to us, we did not get the feeling that they were enjoying this work or were keen to help.

"Great staff and good clean hotel with great location"

Location, cleanliness, comfort and excellent courteous and hardworking staff

Our room faced the main road and it was a little noisy, but that was to be expected and did not disrupt our sleep

I loved the colonial feel about the place, loved the big wooden furnitures and big spaces.

The food services could have been better. The staff were good and very helpful. But wasn’t too happy with dinner, dint have many options and was a little too pricey for the menu they have
