Perfect cozy spot right next to an amazing isolated beach. Breakfast was amazing. Also took the dolphin & whale tour the hotel offers and wasn't disappointed (so many dolphins, also saw a whale). Cozy spot, great value for money.

Booking.com says card payments are possible, but actually they only accept cash. When we pointed out that they claimed we can pay with card, staff started lying to us (first that the terminal is "being repaired", second that they had told us that they accept cash only, which they hadn't).

The beach is really dirty - I know not the host fault but maybe the community can do some clean ups

We liked everything about this property and were sorry to leave this little bit of paradise! Our hosts Dencil and Vathani were so kind and helpful, and the food was delicious, both breakfast and dinner! The room was large and the bed comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The fridge in the room was definitely a plus, as was the air con. The bathroom was a good size and brightly lit, and there were 3pin square plugs for us British travellers - a nice surprise! Best of all was the terrace literally yards from the beautiful warm sea and white sand on the beach. This small bay is idyllic and watching the local fishermen tend to their boats each day was so interesting. Meals are served on the terrace and it’s a great place to sit and relax and enjoy a cool drink. Dencil has his own boat and arranges early morning trips to Dolphin/Whale watch at a fair price. We took advantage of this and had a great time searching for the dolphins and then watching them zip through the water as if enjoying every minute. We think Janus Blue Corner is an absolute gem and highly recommend it!!! Thank you Dencil and Vathani.

Nicest hosts we have had so far. Amazing meals prepared on the property by family. Amazing location. Nice swimming beach. Nice, quiet location set in local village. Enjoyed being included in local festivities. Villagers very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Vathani and family - we were very sad to leave this place. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing peaceful location on a quiet beach with just 1 other cottage and fisherman. We swam each day on our beach. Beautiful and modern bungalow. Very special dinners and breakfasts each day meticulously prepared by the sweet manager. we walked to the local Trinco Beach and town and rented a scooter for a couple of days at a great price..

Very small hotel with nice owner and employees. They did loundry for us and were very friendly

Possibility to pay by card is missing

The accommodation is right on the beach and faces in the direction of the sunrise for beautiful views each morning. The staff were friendly and the big home cooked breakfasts provided each morning were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, overall very good value and would recommend.

The accommodation is a fair distance from the main tourist areas, including the nicer beaches and restaurants, so would recommend having your own transportation or driver. We met a tuktuk driver who was happy to drive us around the whole time we were in Trincomalee, so this was not a big problem for us.
