Such a gorgeous setting overlooking the lake. Also beautiful gardens with a variety of birds. The room was very comfortable and super clean. Each room has a seating area outside. Friendly staff. Good value. Highly recommended.

"Small hotel with gorgeous views and simple accommodation"

The owner and the staff were fantastic. We enjoyed nice meals, beautiful views and epic birdwatching.

The beds weren't terribly comfortable but for the price I didn't expect the Ritz.

It felt like paradise! The variety of birds you get to see there is incomparable to any other place! Do yourself a favor, sit down for breakfast on the balcony and see for yourself - you will be surprised, and you definitely won't regret it. Rooms are very basic but very clean. I'll definitely be back at this lovely place!

"A BIRD LOVERS MUST"

This property is a diamond in the ruff. I am so glad I found this hotel, my stay was so peaceful. What this place has the most is birds, and no need to go to bird tours if you stay just a few hours here. I have never been so close to birds in Costa Rica! no need for binoculars either, the toucans come so close the owner is able to almost hand feed them. If you’re an animal lover, stay here. awesome view and huge field to run around if you have kids too.

bed could be a bit more comfortable and food was pricey

Beautiful hotel, great view, quite 10 minutes out of town from Neuvo Arenal. Great price for a cosy hotel. Lots of birds, friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Would recommend and definitely go back. The owner showed me a beautiful view to watch the sunset a 1 minute drive away.

European menu, good food, nice included breakfast.
