Beautiful location with a fantastic view. Perfect for bird watching. Room had a stunning view to wake up to. Very peaceful place to stay. Owners were always available. Great location for a night hike to search for wildlife.

We had a few ants come through the gap under the door but it ended up not being a big issue. Wish the hotel windows had screens on them but that seemed to be pretty typical in Costa Rica to not have any.

It was very clean and the owner was very accommodating. The views and the birds were over the top.

The hotel is located in a wonderful nature. Breakfast and dinner were quite good. It can be said that it is a very good hotel for its price.

The beds were not comfortable. Especially the mattress of bunkbeds is very thin and not comfortable. Also, we saw a small lizard in the room and it escape from the gap in the roof.

"Great location, beatiful lake views and experience with birds"

The house is really lovely and the views are unbeatable. Rainer is a really nice host. The highlight of the place is the breakfast where you can watch different kinds of birds like tucan, oropendulo etc come to the little platform Rainer built there. He even knows what time each bird will come, it is an amazing experience to see that with the fantastic lake views.

The room was very small, and the bed not very comfortable. There is not really hot water in the shower. We nevertheless enjoyed our stay and the value for money is still great.
