Hotel Tortuguero Beachfront

The turtles were the high point of the trip. The hotel had everything we needed, the staff helpful. The pool was nice. The beach was right there, and we went in the water. The rip tides were not problematic when we were there. And the sun was hot!

The wifi did not work in the room, that caused us to spend more time around the pool. And note: you CANNOT drive all the way to Tortuguero. You'll need to take a ferry to complete the trip.

Good location on the beach, with a swimming pool and you can walk to everywhere. Breakfast was good.

The Staff could be friendlier.

The hotel has an excellent location, the staff was very kind, and they let us check in earlier. The rooms are small but comfortable.

We liked the breakfast, but it would be nice if the menu changed day by day or maybe add something different every day.

Located in the center of village with easy access to grocery, bakery, restaurants and tours. Yet property feels like it is in the jungle with gorgeous vegetation, a pool and an easy walk out to the ocean. Breakfast was great, staff wonderful and helpful, and room was lovely with a covered porch and chairs. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast was great and more than I expected.

The wall outlet next to my bed was hard to plug into. However, the other wall outlets in the room worked fine.

Location was one of the best locations in the town of Turtugeuro. Being beach front plus a 2 min walk to the main town was great! Breakfast served fresh eggs to order and other great food. The staff was very helpful at all hours.

The AC in the room struggled to keep up to the 90+ degree temperature outside but it was unusually hot during our stay. Just something to expect when traveling to a remote area in Costa Rica. Not a deal breaker but just a heads up if you are used to American AC
