"A bit pricey during half term but would still recommend staying here."

9.0

Breakfast was good, and although the room was fairly basic, it was spacious and comfortable. The bath/shower was also very nice. The spa facilities were great, and the kids loved being able to have a swim after a hot day of walking and exploring. The bar area had a great atmosphere, and our bartender, Morcant (Morgan), was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some excellent recommendations on places to visit. The hotel is also only a stone’s throw from the village of Betws-y-Coed, making it a perfect location for exploring the area.

I was trying to think of something but couldn't.

"Very Good"

7.0

Comfortable room with 2 fans. Friendly staff. I would stay here again as the location, room and staff were great.

No food available for lunch or dinner on Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast was terrible. The mushrooms were clearly deep-fried. There were literally 3 more tables in the restaurant so why couldn't the be cooked properly? Looked like the sausages were cheap frozen ones. The ham and eggs came on a sogy bap. Not worth the almost £15 a head

"Lovely hotel but don't bother with breakfast"

7.0

The self contained lodge was beautiful and had everything you needed.

The breakfast was really not nice. The pancakes were flavourless and the chef had poured lots of buttery maple/golden syrup all over them so it was really sickly and just not nice at all. Butter and syrup should be in a jug and the pancakes need a better recipe. My partner had the ham and eggs and the ham was green and the meal itself was tasteless. The staff were lovely but weren't presented very hygienically.

"One night only"

6.0

Location in lovely scenic countryside a big bonus. Shower and towels great and overall clean room. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Overall the place is tired looking, lacks atmosphere. Room 17 is noisy, constant din of machines...probably ventilation. Could have so much going for it and needs a big overhaul to draw people.
