The Andiron Seaside Inn & Cabins

The cabin was warm and cozy. We walked into 30's jazz music playing on the little radio, saw a fireplace ready to be lit, two comfortable leather chairs and a book reading light waiting for us to plop down and let the world fall off of us. The deck chairs looked over the expansive front mowed grass area. Fire pits were nicely spaced, Adirondack chairs placed in pairs, corn hole games set up, and all over looking the Pacific Ocean. Tiny kitchen was just right for the goodies that we brought for lunch and dinner. Bathroom was nice and clean. The property goats were beautiful. Madeline was a wonderful host. Great coffee in the office!

I didn't like that we had to leave....lol. We could have stayed there forever! But now we know that it's our kinda vibe and we can't wait to visit again.

Quaint and enchanting cottage. Felt like we had stepped back in time to a charming 40's seaside cottage. Every amenity was provided.

Beautiful location, comfortable, interesting private and quiet separate cabin for the cost of a basic hotel room elsewhere. Helpful and friendly owner. Nice goats! Good coffee in the room.

You can't really walk anywhere -- you need a car and everything is a bit of a drive (10 minutes to Mendocino). This is normal for the area and why it is so quiet.

I loved how dog friendly it was - the dog bed sheet and biscuit were much appreciated!

The cabins are adorable and comfortable. I love how dog friendly the inn was— even the goats were clearly used to dogs being there. Madeline and Scott were fantastic hosts and we had a lovely time.

There was a wonderful attention to detail with personalised notes and homemade biscuits, vintage finds, creative decoration. Kate at the front desk was kind and helpful.

Only one thing, the bed was a little soft but I am waiting for a hip replacement so not the greatest judge as I have ongoing pain.
