Island Inn at 123 West

The penthouse was fully equipped, located just beside the ferry dock at the heart of Friday Harbor. Staff were super helpful, available just a text away.

The property has lots of levels of staircases but does not have elevator. Although the staff were helpful enough to move our luggage around but definitely it is a con.

I enjoy high-end, boutique hotel experiences and tend not to go for apartments because they are often less nice than hotels. The Island Inn at 123 West is the exception. It is pristinely clean, and everything is in excellent condition. The location is perfect. A few steps from the pier to restaurants, shops, seaplane pickup/dropoff, and ferry. It has everything we needed for cooking. The grocery store is a short walk away. The views from every room in the unit are incredible. The only negative is the street can be noisy in the morning as it's pretty busy with the ferry and restaurant supply deliveries. Reserve a room a little further back for a quieter room, but you lose the very front view.

Absolutely amazing. Great layout for several friends or a couple of couples. Great deck. Wonderfully stocked with very nice things. Modern yet cozy. Just a few blocks from the ferry dock. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!

We had an excellent stay at the Island Inn! We were in Penthouse 7 and was perfectly appointed for or family of 5. The entire unit was very clean and very nice appliances. The kitchen had everything you could need and even provided, granola, yogurt, milk and good coffee! Very spacious and perfect spot to unwind after touring around the island. Great Views all around the property and really close to all the restaurants and shops. We walked to dinner each night. Theo, was fantastic and very prompt at texting us back with any questions we had about our unit, restaurants and help navigating the island. He was in contact with me a couple times prior to arrival and was very helpful while we were there! I would highly recommend The Island Inn to anyone and when we return, we will definitely be staying here again! Thanks again, Theo! -Farrell Yarkosky

This was a last minute booking. We came to help a family member and there were not many options of places to stay. It’s definitely a splurge but well worth it. We were welcomed into Penthouse 7 with soft music and warm lighting. A nice surprise of local coffee and granola were on the counter and breakfast items in the refrigerator. Nice touch in case you arrive late because you at least you have breakfast. This property is so close to everything. We very much enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back.

Fabulous in Every Way! We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights of a boutique experience that we loved! Comfortable , spacious, well appointed snd the very best view of the harbour. Loved the extra touches of snacks, individual bags of ice, up to date technology , clean beyond compare…and great spa robes and super wonderful beds and sheets. Worth a splurge of your vacation budget. Todd , in reception, was a wealth of information and excellent recommendations. We loved every minute of our stay!

The experience is not worth a $400/ night property. The basics like disposable room slippers, dental kits, stationary, breakfast etc. and the non-availability of staff to seek timely assistance is a big letdown. We felt they are more interested in making more money during this peak tourist season, rather than customer service experience and missing out on the big picture of repeat customers.
