Rancho Cumbre Monarca

Emplacement incroyable pour visiter le sanctuaire des papillons monarques El Rosario. Nous étions seuls et les enfants ont adoré la basse-cour avec les canards, les poules, les dindes. Le feu de la cheminée a été un plus par ce froid de canard.

It’s a beautiful place.youre really in the woods! The rooms are beautiful and big ,we must have book the suite.it came with a big room with 2 big beds and a small eating area with table and 4 chairs a small living room with a wood fireplace. And another bed. Beautiful outdoors with plenty of animal like turkeys 🦃 chickens 🐓 nice for a morning walk.

Very kind and super responsive staff, clean and spacious room, wonderful breakfast, nice surroundings. They even reached out proactively to prepare dinner and deliver to our room due to our late arrival. The location is very close to the butterfly sanctuary for an early start.

The Rancho Cumbre Monarca was a great place to stay. The staff was very accommodating, the food was good and the room was comfortable. I especially liked that the grounds were fully enclosed so that satisfied my security levels and I was able to sleep soundly at night.

It would have been great if there was internet available in the rooms and satellite TV. Internet was only available in the dining area.

El hotel es excelente, el personal muy amable y atento, queda muy cerca a la Reserva Monarca. Nos encantó el lugar!

Great location for access to the butterfly reserve. Secure hotel, behind high wall and closed gates with plenty of parking. Pleasant heritage building, comfortable beds.

WiFi poor. Meals had that post season lack of attention. This is not difficult to rectify.

Breakfast was good but no maple syrup for the pancakes.

It seems to have been off-season because there were only one other room occupied and the grounds were empty of activity, even though it is a all set up for elaborate outdoor games, picnics and other adventures within their small forest. It is also isolated from the outside world by a big wall along the road and dense trees behind. No easy transport to the Monarch Butterfly reserve (they do not offer that service).

The facility is beautiful, spacious indoor and outdoor space. The food at the restaurant was great It is very close to El Rosario Butterfly Sanctuary and they will drive you there for a fee

It is perfect for tour groups or people who have their own transportation. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to get around without a car

Authentic rustic interior and a great location, close to the butterfly sanctuary. You can get firewood for the fireplace in the room and rent DVDs for a cozy night, since the signal in the area is not the best. Highly recommended place for a weekend getaway!
