Mason's Arms

The room was amazing. The food and pub were everything we wanted. We enjoyed it so much we extended our holiday to stay an extra day at the end in this pub.

The decor looks a little tired but it was closing for one month on the day of our departure for refurbishment.

We have stayed here before and love the location

It has become very tired with worn carpets, windows without blinds or curtains and a scruffy feel

Lovely rooms & excellent care from the staff.

I would have liked breakfast earlier than 9am, but in fairness I didn’t ask in which case they may have accommodated it.

Nice quality room , dinner also good.

At 8.00am the temperature in the room was 13C with no heating. Breakfast was not available until 9 o’clock- a big problem when we had to be in Kendal for 9.15.
