Mason's Arms

Great country pub with lovely staff, good food and we loved staying in Strawberry Bank. It was a suite with a four poster bed, free standing bath in the living space and a fire with seating. So nice to sit and relax and watch the rain outside.

I personally didn’t enjoy the breakfast. We have stayed in a few different pubs within the same group and I’ve tried different options and struggle to find the right light choice for me. The chef kindly made me scrambled eggs on toast but it was very runny eggs on one piece of toast that went soggy because the eggs were runny. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast sandwich though.

Very quaint, modern but still fitting and staff couldn't do enough

Someone had let me car tyre down through the night - I only know this as took the wheel to be fixed the day after to be told nothing was wrong with my tyre but someone had let it down by putting a tiny stone in the valve!!!! Apart from this, nothing was wrong with the property but would make me nervous to park there again if this was to happen.

Beautifully cosy country pub, very warm and comfortable room. Excellent food, efficient and friendly staff. Great views. Decent parking.

Corridor can be loud when guests are walking to and from rooms due to the old nature of the building and the occasional loud slamming door.
