It was a real disappointment that they no longer serve breakfast.

No electricity in plug sockets. Not resolved by owner

Good location.

Quite noisy and not very clean, mucky/stained pillows and headboard.

Nice place to stay, safe were really welcoming and the food was great.

I appreciate this is a room above a pub but there were doors slamming late into the night and early in the morning. Some sort of creature scurrying around in the roof space making noise through the night. Terrible water pressure and the water didn't get very hot. Ripped, mouldy shower curtain in the window of the bathroom, a doorknob instead of a plug in the bath, cobwebs and hairs, all seals around taps are mouldy - no water in the room so bought a little 330 ml bottle at the bar that cost £3.50

There was a rat in the room or in the walls Lots of very loud scratching and gnawing Quite frightening due to its close proximity to my bed but unable to locate I’m a Paramedic I had a long journey and a busy 14 hour day ahead and I was awake most of the night .

The bar and restaurant with a choice of pub food or good quality Indian food was excellent. Room good value for the price.

I stayed in the Deluxe Double, nice historic room with a comfy bed but facing the main road, so noisy first thing. Shower pressure was low which was a shame. Most annoying thing was a flashing green light on a box high on the ceiling, this went on all night, it would be a good idea to put tape over the LED.

1. It’s Location close to my mother’s home 2. The aroma of beautiful looking Indian food in the air which I will try one day soon. 3. Acceptance -by the brotherhood.z 4. Really helpful friendly bar - especially Gautam 5. Party atmosphere. On my first visit there was a wedding. On my second time there was a 50th birthday party. - for the live DJ playing music from the 80s and 90s
