The Lime Tree Inn decor is gorgeous, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We booked an overnight stay Sunday to Monday. The LTI closes at 4pm on Sundays re-opening for business Wednesday morning every week. Restaurant and bar were not available to us. We were allowed to sleep there but having paid £155/room with no facilities available was day light robbery! This was not made clear on booking.com site. I won't use this booking site in future as they lack transparency.

Quality of room furnishings.

More evidence of fact that Inn was not operating as Inn. No pub, No restaurant.

The food was truly special - we ended up having dinner as well as breakfast, and I'm still thinking about the dishes now! The staff and Eloise are so friendly and passionate about what they do - we felt immediately welcomed. For such high quality food and attention to detail you might expect snootiness - but it's the complete opposite - everyone is so warm and down to earth. So happy we stayed here!

Superb place- arguable the best in Yorkshire

Beautiful location and building, exquisite food!

A little warm in our attic room but not too bad once the windows were open.

Excellent breakfast & superb food for evening meal . Brilliant chef.
