Check in is by phone which I didn't know. They give you a code for door etc by text.. when I arrived I had only a few percent battery left so bear this is mind. Could have been less than ideal if I couldn't get in. For the money the location(close to sea front) and room facilities were great. There was a fridge which I wasn't expecting. Always a plus. No fan but thankfully was OK with window open. Smelled of cigarettes so definitely needs a squirt of febreeze. Again, value for money could not be better. Stayed in Hunstanton the night before. Twice the price and half as.good.

In person greeting on arrival would be nice. The hotel smelt of dog as soon as you walked in. We booked a double budget room, nowhere did it state that it had shared bathroom facilities. We had to pay cash to upgrade and it was not worth the money. The upgraded room was half the size of the original room and only had a tiny window that opened. There was a fridge in the room and this was dirty. The whole room and en-suite needed a good scrub as nothing was clean. Kettle and toaster were both old and extremely marked/dirty. Free tea coffee and sugar should be individual sachets not in tubs where you scoop out whatever you want. The towels were guest size not bath towel or bath sheet. There were no hand towels. The bed was extremely lumpy and I found it impossible to sleep. Information states that the owners are new to this. How long is considered new. They have been there over 2 years !

Great hotel

The location was excellent and the owners were very helpful and polite on the phone.

The accommodation was great value but would have been happier if there was a sink in the bathroom to was our hands and brush our teeth etc instead of using the kitchen sink. We found a few object in the child's bed, broken tube paper other bits, not quite sure what they were. Maybe take the 2nd mattress away on the child's bed. My granddaughter is 7 and kept falling out of bed so we needed to take it off. If you do have the apartment at the top please make sure you are fit enough the stairs are narrow and very steep. Saying this though it was a comfortable stay. Thankyou
