Lord Milner Hotel

The property's historical aspects and grounds/gardens are lovely and well worth a visit. It has a good dining room too, although the evening dining hours run late (from 7pm)

The staff team looking after the guest experience were disappointing, most partcularly the recpetion team. They don't complement the hotel's positive features at all. From the outset there were issues: no friendly welcome (as you'd think you might expect) and we were given a room other than the one we'd booked for, which certainly was an inconvenience us.

Dinner was excellent. Great atmosphere and excellent food

We had to amend our date of stay due to medical reasons and had to move to a downgraded motel room, but it was not their fault

It was cold, need an electric blanket.

Love the historic buildings and the preservation of all things historic. . Great staff very helpful and a great 7 minute tour .

Beautiful, old building with exquisite antique furniture and gorgeous wooden floors. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, served by capable and friendly staff.

The rooms are in need of a bit of TLC. Signs of wear and tear that isn't being taken are of, are showing. Left for too long, it will be really expensive to fix to what should be its original grand state.
