Hotel Crescent

First is the exceptional view from the hotel room on winters. We came for a 5N 4D kashmir trip and we just planned to try Hotel Cresent for the first 1N stay. Started with shikara ride to hotel, while reached Dal gate ghat No 1, After experiencing the exceptional service from hotel staff and the cleaniness, we fixed to go ahead with the hotel cresent for whole stay in kashmir. Our First time in Indian hotel visits, we experienced the hotel staff was one or two seconds away from replying to our needs while staying there. (Exceptional) Worth for the money in kashmir : No doubt Room Heater facilities were so comfortable and they provided Electric blankets which were very essential if you are coming in winters. Thankyou Hotel cresent and their staffs for always reachable to support us while staying in your property

Only thing was we have to walk a little through the dal gate walk way , if you like to walk a little, its too good to watch scenic beauty of dal lake and life of local kasmiris

The owner is very nice and helpful

Initially, I had reserved the room for only one day with the intention of physically inspecting and booking another hotel for the remaining three days. Despite the hotel not boasting extravagant aesthetics, the warmth, cooperation, and genuine hospitality extended by the owner, Sameer Yousuf, compelled me to prolong my stay for the entire four days. I explored Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam during my travels, all while staying in Srinagar with well-organized travel arrangements facilitated by the hotel owner. Situated right next to Dal Lake, this hotel's only drawback is its location on a pedestrian road, inaccessible to large vehicles. A three-minute walk from the ghat is necessary, or alternatively, one can always opt for the delightful experience of using the "Shikara," a special boat on Dal Lake, from ghat 1 directly to the hotel door.

Host is good and ver friendly

I have traveled in December and the rooms very freezing. As there was a regular power cuts and no power back up for heaters and on top of it rooms window wasn’t closing properly so the wind is coming in from outside so the room was freezing always and we couldn’t come out of the quilts. Heaters provided were also electric heaters which runs for few min and then turns off for few min so no use of those heaters either

Spacious clean room, Owner was friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for our tour to Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pehelgam and local sightseeing at reasonable rates.Location within 10 mins walking distance from Dal gate. Overall Satisfied with my stay at the hotel crescent.

The rooms were large, quiet and comfortable. There was a nice view over the lake. Friendly and helpful owners. Good hot water and water pressure.
