Loved the location in the heart of the village & the hotel is lovely & dog friendly too! The breakfast & service is exceptional!

Only negative was the bed as mattress & pillows too soft for us!

Breakfast ranged from full english to a boiled egg. Top quality ingredients too. Plenty of tea and ground coffee. helpfull staff. Our room was upgraded and it had dog beds, dishes and treats supplied (Dog friendly is why we chose this hotel and they charge a reasonable fee compared to most). The room was very clean with a decent selection of drinks + biscuits.

Only complaints - and theyre really minor, was a extremely loud squeeky wardrobe door and bedside lighting could benfit from a more powerful bulb.

Breakfast excellent. Location good.

A slightly bigger room would have been better as we have 2 med., elderly dogs- but it was a special offer, so excellent value all round!

"Perfect stay"

Lovely hotel and excellent service. Staff were very friendly, and our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed a tasty meal in the restaurant and enjoyed a drink in the lovely outdoor section. Right in the heart of pretty Kirkby Lonsdale, which is ideally located for beautiful walks. We loved our stay here!
