Marboka Hotel & Suites

Loved our stay! Amazing location, not too touristy and very quiet. Felt very safe. Can walk along the beach all the way to the Malecón and beyond. The beds were so comfy, views from our balcony were unbeatable with a front row seat to whale and rays leaping. The rooms were large and clean and staff friendly. Also LOVED the restaurant downstairs, steps away from the hotel and beach.

Our stay at Marboka was great! The staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you to Angie and Jesús for helping organize via Airbnb. The room and amenities were great and the view was very nice. We had a slight problem with a lack of hot water one night but it was pretty brief and just due to many people using it at the same time.

We loved this hotel. The view from the room was spectacular. The room was renovated, beds were comfortable and very clean. The staff were all very friendly.

It’s an older unheated pool so quite cold in February.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, people very friendly. Nice to be oceanfront,saw tons of whales going by. My disappointment was the palms along the beachfront,the dying yellow bottom fronds(branches) should be pruned off ,they blocked 80%of the view off all of Banderas Bay and Vallarta, apparently the owners don't want to spend the little bit of $ yo trim like the neighboring condos do. And fix the.umbrellas on the beach. Other than that it was enjoyable and comfortable, I'd stay there again.

Our family of 5 (3 kids under 10) had a great week long stay at the Panoramic Suite in Marboka Hotel. Highlights were: priceless view of the Bay of Banderas on one side and forested hills on the other, wonderful and helpful staff, short bus/taxi into the heart of town (or a short walk), excellent restaurant right downstairs, quiet neighbourhood. Playa Chonchas Chinas is a real gem of a beach which had something for everyone. The suite was spotless, large and exactly as described.

We booked for two nights but left after one, as we did not want to end our trip on such a depressing note. Pros: pretty view from patio and was very clean. Cons: Room smelled of sewage. Poor service, details sorely lacking. Two towels per room, max- even if your room has a tub on patio (though also there are no towel racks to hang them on in bathroom, and no TP holder either). The underlying message being, hotel guests cannot be trusted to not steal towels? No glasses in room other than plastic cups a la Pizza Hut. No coffee with coffee maker- we were told to pay from vending machine for this (though housekeeper did offer us a bag at noon, as we were leaving). Worn, translucent sheets and two twin size pillows on a king size bed. Safe didn’t work. Never anyone at front desk - at check in, when coming or going for dinner, or late at night. They left the front door cracked though so we (and anyone else) could get in. We asked to speak with the manager to discuss our concerns and were told they weren’t available, all we could do was email. We never received a reply.

The views of the ocean from the rooms.. the location is pretty good ..the restaurant downstairs is decent and right on the beach...there is free parking always available.

There is no elevators so , not a good place for people with mobility issues or stairs ..

chico was the man. start to finish he was very nice and helpful. the room was amazing. everything was great. came here for my girlfriend birthday and got suprise decorations in the room. 10/10 rec
