Excellent hotel in beautiful setting

Excellent. Made feel very comfortable and nothing was to much trouble.

Service and location

It was absolutely beautiful. It looked like what I picture a castle would have looked liked. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms

Everything closes around 7:30 pm. The property offers dinner but the last guest is served around 730 so it’s good to get here early. The owner gave us recommendations for in town but they also close early

Liked the building immensely. Liked the dining room which was oak panelled throughout. Liked the comfort of lounge.

I had a twin room, the beds were of inferior construction, the mattress was rather worn out and appeared to have the springs pushing through.

Personnel is serving, polite and flexible: this change quite a lot our experience as foreigners around thus whereabouts: thank you all! Building is beautiful, an it's surrounded by lovely gardens.

Cleanliness is not the best of the best, but the accommodation was so last minute cheap that we cannot complain. We mean: it was clean, but perhaps not spotless around some openings with just a few spider webs.

The family owners were amazing. So welcoming and helpful and friendly. We were walking and they even offered to wash some of our clothes for us. Dinner was excellent, room beautiful and grounds lovely.
