Otterburn Castle

Otterburn is a special treat. A family run operation near nothing, it is a castle with all the charm. We had what I think was called the Library room. It was amazing! Dinner was very good.

It certainly could have been cleaner. There were old spider webs on the window latches. In a way, it added to the authenticity!

We enjoyed the very personal touch. It was like being guests of a family for the few days we were there. The environment was great for relaxing and we loved the breakfasts and the dinners we had there. For us it was a gem in our touring holiday of Northumberland.

A simply stunning hotel in lovely grounds and a great area. Our hosts were perfect, food was great and the rooms spacious and comfortable.

The room was clean and tidy. The garden was nice.

Fabulous welcome from Ellie, customer service exceptional. Alex provided the same excellent service at breakfast (which was brilliant!!) We were attending a wedding locally, and were able to check in early to get changed and ready, Ellie having made the room available early. Would definitely re-visit.
