Lovely welcome, warm and friendly atmosphere. We wanted a relaxing getaway and that is exactly what we got. Excellent breakfast, set us up for a peaceful walk along the river the next day. Would definitely recommend.

"A real treasure"

Just Perfect. A great family run hotel We stayed two nights. Elly and Alex where both so friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for one night - the food and service were spot on. We used the hotel as a base to explore the local area.

What' not to like....This was our 3rd trip to the castle and won't be our last. We love the location, we love the castle and the owners make the experience unforgettable. Ellie, Alex and Ivan are all amazing and each brings their own special qualities to make your stay extra special. We highly recommend having an evening meal in the restaurant...you won't be disappointed.

Such a warm welcome. Couldn't do enough for you. Lovely, family run hotel. Alex and his family are the perfect hosts. Room was beautiful, lovely toiletries, plenty of hot water. Lovely comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. And breakfast was plentiful and varied for all tastes. Such a historical building, a real gem. We will definitely return.
