Hotel-Restaurant am weißen Turm Self Check-in

location is good, but it doesn't make it a nice hotel since every hotel in town has a good location.

No breakfast, no staff. I was a little bit earlier than expected so I tried to call them from a day before travelling, however the number given by them on booking.com and the number on google are both not available. The only way I can contact them is through the booking message. Unfortunately, they rarely reply. They only replied my message on my arrival day because there is no person there and no one sent me any message how to self check-in. I received the informaion about self check-in after I called booking for help. SInce then, they didn't reply any of my message AT ALL and it was impossible to ask for them for any help no not-working wifi, on hair dryer and on toilet paper supply.

Location is excellent, essentially in the town centre. One car park very close, others not far away. Room was fine, big enough and comfortable. Breakfast not offered, but plenty of good early morning cafes within 100 yards, so not a problem. Staff able to respond to queries readily.

It was all ok, no issues.

Extremely welcoming and helpful. Fantastic location in old town. Walking distance to sites. Room was nice-like you would expect a gasthaus room in a hundreds year old building to be and i mean that as fondly as possible. Just what we were hoping for. Gasthaus has a pub restaurant with great local atmosphere.

Far better than expected !

Fantastic location, just around the corner from the town square, right in the centre of the old town. The room was big, lots of room to open suitcases and move around. The room also has a lot of character, even if it's a bit shabby chic. It was clean, and the cleaner was very friendly when we saw her in the morning.

It's a self check-in so we didn't see anyone. The instructions emailed ahead were fine, but when we arrived (along with another couple who had booked separately) at 14:30, the door was locked. There was no answer to the door bell or the phone number. When we came back an hour later the door was open, all good. The shower door didn't close (broken) and there weren't any glasses, just plastic mugs. If they invested a little on maintenance and a different check in system, this would be good value.
