Locanda Il Carugio

Great interior design and well laid out. Our adjoining double rooms were high spec’ and the property is well located in the relaxing village of Corniglia. From Corniglia, we could travel to/from the other areas in the Cinque Terre. We loved it. If we needed additional supplies for our room or even a packed breakfast for a day out, nothing seemed too much trouble. Truly wonderful.

Nothing to dislike from our point of view.

Great location with an amazing breakfast view. The breakfast was offered a wide variety of meals which were all lovely :) The place is located just near the main town square of Corniglia which makes it very accessible to the shuttle bus and the village itself. Definitely worth the price you pay.

Big room with really nice bathroom, terrace was lovely with an amazing view. Everything was clean and clearly quite new. Owners were lovely and super helpful, they packed us a breakfast when we had to leave early. Couldn’t fault it.

Nothing

Breakfast was fantastic! Every morning we were served breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the sea and Manarola. We ordered what we wanted from the menu and there was always a daily special. Everything was delicious. The rooms were spacious. The staff thought of what we needed/wanted before we realized we needed/wanted it. Staff was also very helpful about accessing hikes and restaurant recommendations. Definitely plan to come back!!!

There was nothing not to like! It was perfect.

Even though Corniglia is probably less famous and pretty place in Cinque Terre, it is good as less crowded and you can travel to other towns easily. The apartments were fabulous, very clean, modern, great breakfast, really helpful staff. I could not think of anything that could be improved. I really recommend this apartment.

I liked everything:)

The view was awesome. The breakfast’s were delicious every day. Gianpaolo was so very helpful. The shower was amazing. We loved being in a quiet town, close to fantastic hiking but not as busy or touristy as the other towns. The trade off is an uphill trek from the train station and less restaurants. However, we wanted to walk and loved eating at nearby La Posada.
