Hotel Chalet S - Dolomites Design - adults recommended

fantastic hotel full of little touches, the chalet bus to the ski lifts of the morning works well, food is amazing and rooms are very comfortable and good sizes. its a very short walk down the hill the hill to the village. being able to ski back to the hotel makes the return home easy

Design and Forniture are very nice, the hotel have been renewed in 2019 and it is nice, especially the lounge and the restaurant. The rooms are modern and nice.

The whole hotel temperature was pretty hot, the worst was the temperature control in the room didn't do anything and we had to sleep with the open windows to control the temperature in the room. It was like 27/28 with the windows closed. The pillows were quite uncomfortable but the worst were the duvets that were pretty heavy and because of the temperature in the room you had to sleep without anything. I asked to have a traditional bad sheets and blankets but they were unable. The Breakfast was pretty poor for the rate of the hotel. There were no eggs of any kind in the breakfast menu and if you order from the kitchen an omelet or other is billed extra. Ridiculous for a 900€ per night hotel. We paid half board for all the 4 days, once there at second day we have been informed that on Wednesday the restaurant is closed.. wasn't a problem to go to a restaurant outside, but we still paid the half board and on Booking there is no mention to the fact the the half board is not all days... pretty bad attitude. One waiter was pretty smart and gentle, the others were quite lazy and sleepy. Every time you finish a serving plate they never remove the empty plate even if they are there doing nothing next to you... (the hotel was not very full).. They just didn't pay attention..

Good Location and very easly walkable to the City Centre.

The Front Desk Staff needs to be more Courteous to the Guests.They were not at all friendly or going out of the way to help the Guests.The only saving grace of the Hotel was Mr David (one Man Army).
