Granbaita Dolomites

We loved the suite. It was spacious and cosy. Great bathroom accessories by [comfort zone]. And great housekeeping.

We expected for 5 star hotel to also have great food. I mean food selection at the buffet was good (especially cheeses and salami) but cooked food was below average. If you choose dinner, just stay at buffet. One remake also on breakfast and dinner service. It was slow. Really slow. Except with Dora. We had her only for the first night. Shame she moved to another region.

This is high living, a great place to stay and great facilities and staff

Way too hot in general and particularly in the bedroom. Had to ask for the air con temperature to be lowered, which was done, but still hot and difficult to sleep comfortably.

Breakfast was excellent as was the location within easy walking distance of shops, grocery store, bakery, etc. Facilities with indoor/oudoor pool were great but as North Americans we don't understand or appreciate all of the different types of saunas (including a "Hay sauna/steam room" which must carry mold and cause allergies) offered. Our room with separate sitting area on ground level with two walk out patios was fabulous though there was a lot of wasted space and too little counter space in the bathroom. The amount of activities offered, and included in the nightly rate, are fabulous including an e-bike tour that we went on (only the two of us with the hotel instructor/guide).

Bed was too hard for my liking and the sheets are scratchy/itchy, but I often find both of these when I travel. Lots of rain but if you are prepared, you don't have to let it stop you from doing most things.

Food was exceptional both Breakfast and Dinner, there is nothing to dislike about this stay, everything exceeded my expectations. All the staff treated extremely well and went beyond!

NOTHING, everything was in top shape

We were blown away with our stay at Granbaita! It was our first time to the Dolomites and we loved the location, staff, restaurant, food (book the half board, I didn’t realize we’d want to eat at the hotel each night but we upgraded once we got there and it was SO worth it). We went during shoulder season but we were blown away with this hotel for the price. We absolutely loved the sauna space, renting the E-mountain bikes, and all of the activities they had available for us. Our room was stunning and large with a pretty view. We had wonderful service during our entire stay and I just can’t say enough great things. We will definitely stay here again one day.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is big and comfortable. The place is fancy and nice

Wonderful location and great hospitality by all of the hotel staff. In particular, we were taken great care of by Giovanni during every single one of our amazing meals. The man does not rest! The mountain views were absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to go back.
