Granbaita Dolomites

We loved the staff, furnishings, e-bike activities and amazing spa.

The food was not to expectation. The main tuna and deer medallions were truly inedible and the buffet left much to be desired. Need to have more temperature control in the rooms. Rooms are too hot for sleeping comfortably.

It was a fantastic experience all round.

If there was a sixth star, Gran Baita in Val Gardena has it. World class experience delivered with sincerity of heart in balance with the unforgettable beauty of the Dolomites. Take one of the many classes- Marco, Sommelier extraordinaire, leads a memorable tasting of regional wines.

We are currently sitting at the hotel bar, and marveling at finding Hotel Granbaita. This place is simply fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the property is first rate. Our room was beautiful, with great amenities and views. The staff was beyond helpful arranging hiking and biking tours, and the hotel is perfectly located. We weren’t sure what to expect because we stumbled onto this property doing online research, but it is an absolute gem. Don’t miss it!

Incredible service from start to finish. Felt like upscale camp with daily activities board catering to all levels of fitness and activity. We hiked three out of four days there and felt like family by the end. Restaurant was impeccable. Spa service was good, but not great. I would recommend this property to all friends and family. Impressive all around!

Since there was no air conditioning, you had to sleep with the pation door open. Two problems 1)The lights on the patio could not be turned off. I had to put a towel over the lights. 2) A cat kept coming into my room since the patio door was partially open. The trash cans were super small. For the size of the room, they need to be much bigger. As a solo traveler, I don't like having rooms on the first floor. The hotel should keep that in mind

The hotel atmosphere was good the staff were ok. However the ski hire shop man & the shuttle bus driver were excellent.

I found our meals well organized and good. I like that we had assigned seats but might want to move around a little.
