"Disappointed as I was expecting better"

5.0

Great location for the Yorkshire 3 peaks

Cold, and damp room, with moldy shower. No phone signal and no WiFi. Not ideal if you need to check in and let people know you’re ok.

"Pleasant"

It was clean and ok for 1 night stay. Very close to meet up point for Y3P

A bit of "old" smell in the building and cold room.

"Great location for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks"

5.0

Excellent location for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks There was a good atmosphere in the pub from all the hikers, staff were friendly and the food in the pub was ok

Our room, although a good size and had everything you needed felt rather damp, this could have been down to that it was an old building and there was no heating on. It felt cold even though it was a hot weekend

The locations.

One member of the staff attitude. The fact we weren’t allowed in the bar because it was only open for the locals.

"Weird and dirty!"

1.0

Only positive was it’s location for the 3 Peaks

The owners are beyond rude. The property is filthy, stinks, full of weird, hand written warning of signs and you’re not allowed to use the bar area unless you are a local. For the price I’d have expected a cooked breakfast, we had one slice of burnt toast and it’s only served between 8 and half past.

Nothing

The fact that on arrival, the staff said they did not have us booked in. They subsequently found my booking and had clearly double booked themselves! We had travelled 5 hrs to get there and had it not been for a neighbouring Guesthouse (Broadcroft House which I cannot rate highly enough) where other members of our group were staying helping out at very short notice, we would have had to travel elsewhere to try and find alternative accommodation ahead of a 0600 start the following morning to do the 3 Yorkshire Peaks.

"You just feel unwelcome."

2.0

Food was quite good.

Tired building. Poor facilities. No wifi. Owners not welcoming. Did not open until 5.50pm. Unfriendly notices all over.
