Hotel La Carruba

I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience traditional Calabrian living. The hotel is a family run business and Pino, Marco and Marzia could not have been more welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay as wonderful as possible. They were so warm and friendly - I felt like I was visiting family. The room was very comfortable and clean and only a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach. There is a wood-fired pizza oven right there on the premises and Marco whips up some yummy pizzas. I’d love to go back to Cetraro one day and when I do, I’ll definitely be staying here again. Loved it.

Hotel is old and needs a refurbishing to reach a 3-star of today's standards. Breakfast was not included unlike other hotel options equivalent in price and in the locality. Staff is otherwise very nice and friendly.

Our stay was excellent.

Nice hotel for one night staying on our trip to Sicily. Dinner at hotel restaurant was delicious and for very good price. Very nice hotel yard with interesting statuetes of animals. Free parking. Beach is approx 10min walking from hotel, but didn't used it. Best wishes to owners of this hotel, we met them and they are very welcoming and nice people!
