"Short but excellent stay in Hotel Carruba"

The staff, in particular the head chef, were fantastic and very welcoming. Extremely friendly and spent time to give recommendations for food and local area. Food in restaurant was excellent. Location of hotel was very easy to find and close to main routes. Only a few minutes walk away to the sea and a quiet and secluded beach.

"Superb"

The owners are amazing and very friendly. They helped us with everything we needed and made us feel welcome. They are very honest people. The food was exceptional. Thank you for going out of your way to help us with the extra things we needed to make our stay successful!

"Terrible."

Didn't have breakfast, location behind the railway line, not very near to the beach.

Hotel main doors were locked, no one to be seen at 4pm when I arrived. I was informed that the restaurant closed at 8pm. I went to the restaurant at 6:45pm and was given a bottle of tap water. After 25 minutes, still no menu and was totally ignored. I was the only person in the restaurant. After 30 minutes I got up and left. No food at all that evening. Woke up in the morning, no breakfast was even set up, so I checked out and left. The catering facilities were abysmal and actually non existent during my stay. I will never, ever stay there again. Staff were pleasant but that's not good enough.
