Hotel Parco Degli Aromi Resort & SPA

Very spacious and clean room, with a well-sized balcony and a fantastic view of the coast. The breakfast was continental (buffet) but with some typical dishes, very delicious. And the coffee, as expected, very good.

We planned to use the spa, but this had to be booked like days or weeks in advance, because it is, we were told, too small to have more than 10 guests. Then I was told I could go on my own in 1 hour, when I appeared there, they said, no, no way today, but next morning at 10 am. And I have to pay extra. This is certainly not what I know and imagine under SPA HOTEL.

The view from the room was awesome. The bedroom cozy and clean but not exceptionally wide. The premises were very nice and the personnel very friendly and helpful. The location and layout are of an astounding beauty!

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, but we had to wait too long before the personnel would take the order. The SPA is very tiny and minimalistic, if you're used to similar facilities in the North. You're in a chain work and there's a limited time for the sauna and the whirlpool, following other customers and with other waiting behind. This takes away the expectation of relaxing and sounds very touristic. It's a pity that in such a marvellous place there's so much limited space for the wellness!

The place is beautiful, but the rooms are extremely small, like matchboxes. The experience at the reception was disappointing - the staff started explaining the restrictions right after my entry, which made me feel uncomfortable. I believe the option for staying with pets should be reconsidered, as I was informed that I had to pay 65 euros for cleaning for my dog, which is only allowed in the room and outside the hotel. In other places I've been to, the pet fees were not as high for a 3-kilogram dog, and this fact devalues the pet-friendly stay at this hotel.
