温泉が良く、施設は古いが、清潔だった。 スタンプの方の感じも良かった。

食事がひどかった。特に夕食のバイキングが、品数が少なくて味も悪かった。朝食も粗末だった。

Location was great, just across the road for chairlift (you can’t possibly be any nearer) and 2 min walk to another chairlift that brings you up to connect to other ski fields We enjoyed the all inclusive, dinner for 5 days was not repeated for mains, some sides repeated overall meals while not fancy, they were tasty and you won’t go hungry. Bath was also great way to start and end the day. The staff is the best, smiling elderly aunties and front desk.

Nothing much, we liked the tatami futons sleeping together as a family, it was too thin for everyone but nothing an additional futon topper couldn’t solve with some self service. don’t come expecting ryokan luxury or fancy food - if you are here just to ski, you will find you are in the right place. There’s nothing much to do after the sun comes down too.

the location was very near to ski lift and they have rental for ski equipment. also not too high on Shiga kogen which can be hard to drive in winter when there is snow. the onsen is quite big compared to other hotel I have stayed and there are washing machine and dryers which allows me to do my laundry.

poor wifi connection which every single Japanese hotel has the same issue.

Clean and great location for skiing. Ski hire very cheap and passes discounted. Great interconnected ski tracks nearby.

Sauna was closed.

Literally right next to the Takamagahara bus stop and right across the road from the ski lifts. Ski rentals, jacket, pants, helmet, gloves was just $50 Loved all 3 meals they offered Convenient onsen bath downstairs Helpful friendly staff Convenience store in the lobby with snacks, ski gear, and medicines Non-touristy vibe--guests were primarily locals!

Room was a bit tight for all of the winter clothes and ski gear, but we had everything we needed in terms of amenities The Takamagahara area did not seem to have any non-hotel-reservation restaurants available. If you miss your hotel's dinner time, you're a bit out of luck so be prepared and plan ahead.
